You can find the full method for creating this set of lovely cards in this month's edition of the Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft magazine (Vol 22 No 9) - on sale now! Each card features the 'collage stamping technique' with imagery from the First Sight stamp set.

Last month I shared a project that would have fit into this set perfectly.  It's another great example of these papers, embellishments and stamps in action.  Did you miss it?  Find it here!

#TGIFc47, Inspiration challenge, Easter theme, Made with Love, Balloon Celebrations, Note card, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost, Stampin' Up!

There is a 'Sweet Tooth' inspiration challenge at the TGIF challenge blog this week.  Easter is THE holiday for those with a sweet tooth the world over!  So I decided to use this challenge to make a start on some Easter projects.

Cindy Schuster inspired me with her clever use of the Balloon Celebrations stamp set to create speckled Easter eggs.  I layered a couple of these 'eggs' with the super cute bunny from the Made with Love set on this Note Card design.

I'm hoping to put together a bunch of these this weekend in preparation for the holiday next weekend.

Happy Easter!

#TGIFc44, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost, Botanical Builder Framelits, Stampin' Up!, Sale-a-bration 2016, Hello

Stampin' Up's Sale-a-bration (SAB) sale continues throughout March.  The exclusive SAB 'hello' stamp set that I've featured in this project has been replaced with some fun new freebies that are on offer to all those who make qualifying purchases now until the end of March. Click HERE to see the full SAB flyer and place your order anytime at my online store!

This project was created for the TGIF February remix.  I've chosen to use this month's sketch in combination with the colour scheme of blushing bride pink, melon mambo and rich razzleberry.  The clustered elements were also inspired by the theme challenge - bonus points for using all three challenges?

Be sure to visit the TGIF challenge page for more inspiration and to join in with us - we always love to see your creations!

You are just the nicest, First Sight, Picture Perfect, Stampin' Up!, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost, Join my Stampin' Up! team

This weekend I gathered members of my Stampin' Up! downline together for a little catch-up.  I set the team a challenge before the meeting - to bring along a show and tell project featuring the 'collage stamping technique'.  The ladies all had some beautiful cards to share!  And this was mine...

I thought the First Sight stamp set not only had imagery perfect for this technique but also suited the romantic tone of the Valentines weekend.  I paired it here with wording from the Picture Perfect set - I love those mixed font sentiments!

Inspiration for the colour scheme was drawn from the Love Blossoms paper stack, a pattern from which I featured in the background of this card.

You are just the nicest

I was really drawn to this pretty hummingbird when I first saw the Picture Perfect stamp set in the new Occasions catalogue at Stampin' Up!'s Onstage event in November.  I'm so glad to feature it in this project today!

I began this design with the bird which I chose to layer in tones of garden green, island indigo, black and hello honey, with just a touch of rose red in the beak.  Then I've applied the beautiful 'Wink of Stella' in gold over the honey segments to add a pretty shimmer.  After fussy cutting it out, I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals to a folded thick white cardstock base that I had sponged in lost lagoon and sky blue.  The roses (also from the Picture Perfect set) I stamped on another piece of white in tones of blushing bride and rose red before fussy cutting those out too and sticking them flat onto the bottom corner of the design.  I love flowers like these where you can get so much colour and detail just with stamps - no other colouring necessary.

The Love Blossoms designer series paper stack had the perfect rose red floral pattern to compliment the design.  The coordinating Love Blossoms embellishment kit supplied the finishing touches - blushing bride satin ribbon, the gorgeous paper clipped bow and shiny sequins.

The rest of the Artisan design team have been busy playing with these products, among others, and have some amazing creations to show you too! So click the button below to see more inspiring projects.
