I love discovering ways to handcraft beautiful paper embellishments, such as the red rose decorating this card. This particular project came together at the request of one of my lovely customers who was keen to create a card featuring a handmade flower at her recent in-home class.
The colour pallette includes Real Red, Marina Mist, Basic Grey and a touch of Old Olive for the leaves. I've added a stamped image from the elegant Style Beautiful Set as decoration alongside the paper rose. The grey and white striped background is from the Stampin' Up! Patterns Designer Series Paper and the 'love you' comes from the versatile 'Short & Sweet' stamp collection.
