Dragonfly Garden (154411) was the first stamp set I got to play with from the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue released last month.
I love the tranquil meadow scene it's imagery calls to mind.
For the first project (above), I've embossed those pretty florals on a pool party card base background. Then I added a mix of soft pinks, enjoying some mindful colouring time with those stripy dragonfly wings.
For the second project (below), I was inspired by the tones of the Dandy Garden designer series paper to draw together something a little less whimsical, something closer to nature.
The Crafty Carrot Co turned 4 this month and to celebrate our team shared a weekend of FREE live stamping video tutorials over on our public Facebook group.
For my party project, I chose to feature the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set (152539). Being a sentiment only set, I had to get creative with my other decorative elements. Join me in the replay to see this fun bubble background sponging technique come together. I also explore the idea of turning our beautiful designer series papers into fussy cut embellishments.
Throughout February, the team and I will be sharing 4 new LIVE tutorials in our exclusive, private Birthday Collection Facebook group. Learn how you can be a part of the fun and join here today: https://craftycarrotcollective.blogspot.com/

I had such fun with this technique that I couldn't resist trying out an alternative colour combo. Here I've blended soft greens and blues with the 'Bubble Sponging Technique'. While I did a similar fussy cut technique to add a multi-toned sentiment as I did in the video tutorial, for this design I created my own stamped embellishment with the Dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set (154411).
Thank you so much for stopping by. Inspired to try this technique? I’d love to see your take! Tag me @papercraftbyjenniferfrost
Today I'm sharing a sympathy card project featuring the Painted Glass stamp set.
I've kept to neutral, muted colours and decorated simply with a flower made using the Botanical Tags die. To achieve the 'inlaid' multi-tone effect on the flower, I cut the die in both black and white card. Then I stuck the white flower outline to the Sahara Sand label before inlaying the black fill pieces.

The brand new 2019 Stampin' Up! catalogue is live. The Fancy Friday team are blog hopping today to share their favourite product picks from the publication. Mine? The 'Above the Clouds' stamp set and matching punch.
I created two versions of this card. Everything for the first variation (pictured above) is available in the new catalogue, from the 2019–2021 In Color Designer Series Paper pattern to the returning metallic edge ribbon.
Originally, I'd created the variation below for a recent class. I used a retired Soft Sky pattern for the background, a splash of ribbon left over from this year's Sale-a-bration promotion and I simply stamped the sentiment on white rather than the more involved heat embossed technique.
It just goes to show that, with a few tweaks, you can combine new goodies with whatever you have on hand to create beautiful designs.
Here is a full video tutorial of this project for you! I'd love if you were inspired to create along with me.

I'm sharing a masculine project featuring Stampin' Up!'s Geared Up Garage stamp set today. At first glance, this set might have you thinking about projects for the car lovers in your life. However, the toolbox imagery makes for a great embellishment for any handyman or woman too.
This project was inspired by Susan Wong's design for the Crafty Carrot Co blog hop. I just loved her bold red colouring choice, stamped layers and grungy textures. You must check out her project and the other Geared Up Garage hop projects for some amazing inspiration using this set!
The layout is a great example of how sketches can help get your creative juices flowing. Check out this week's Global Design Team sketch challenge *HERE* to play along.
There are so many fun techniques packed into this project. I've created a video tutorial to share the process with you all! I'd love to have you craft along with me!

This baby themed card is one of the 8 designs available to choose from. The layout was inspired by this week's TGIF Challenge blog's sketch.
Today, a group of Artisan Design Team award winners, past and present, are joining together to share with you their favourite product from the 2019 Occasions catalogue. For me, it's the Amazing Life bundle. This gorgeous stamp set is versatile, has pretty fonts and lots of outlines for some easy coloring in. Best of all, it's been bundled with the Rectangle Stitched framelits! I'm a sucker for stitching and this huge pack of framelits is perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking alike. For my project today, I pulled out the Stamparatus. Inspired by Charlet Mallett, I laid out the stamps on my Stamparatus plates and stamped the design three times - each time on a different coloured cardstock panel. Then I cut those panels down to create a fast, three-at-the-same time, colour block effect set of cards. Colour blocking is SO trendy right now! Of course, I couldn't resist testing out what these would look like stepped up a little so I've added touches and created a 'Casual' and 'Avid' crafter variation to share with you all. This is a 'FANCY' friday blog hop after all.
I hope you've enjoyed this little card set!
Do you have a favourite product from the Occasions catalogue? If so I'd love to hear what it is - let me know in the comments below!
Next up in the hop is my fabulous friend Cathy Caines.

Hello! Welcome! Today I'm sharing my very first projects for 2019. We are in the middle of our Summer School holidays at the moment so there is very little crafting happening at my house. It's all cuddly sleep-ins, books & games, swimming, walks, late nights and just spending time together with my littlies before school starts back up - and I'm loving it!
I did, however, carve out some time over the weekend to put together these projects for today's Crafty Carrot Co Amazing Life blog hop. The Crafty Carrot Co is a team of multi-award winning stampers who teach online craft classes. Every month we choose just one Stampin' Up! product focus so all our participants can really make the most of their supplies - no more buying a stamp set and using it once!
Throughout February, all our classes will feature the Amazing Life stamp set. This set was a gift to demonstrators around the world who attended the Stampin' Up! OnStage events last November. It's a fabulous fit for the Crafty Carrot community with its multiple sentiments that suit any number of occasions.
Of course, right now Stampin' Up! have their biggest sale of the year, Sale-a-bration! I definitely suggest you take full advantage of the FREE product on offer. The Crafty Carrot Co suggest the Botanical Butterfly patterned papers and/or the pack of gorgeous Organdy Ribbons. Learn more about how you can get these products FREE *HERE* at my online Stampin' Up! store. Don't forget to use my host code (GDGSTZKQ) while ordering so you can receive all the February Crafty Carrot tutorials completely FREE also!
In my last class of 2018, my lovely class friends put in a special request to see the Gift Bag Punch Board in action. I made this sweet little gift packaging in with the Botanical Butterflies papers to share with them when classes come back in February 2019. Learn more about joining me in person in class *HERE*.
