Blended Seasons Bundle, Fancy Friday Blog Hop

It was super fun to practice some no-line water colouring.  The crumb cake card base held up to the wet colouring process really well and I was really happy with the outcome.

In Class Blended Seasons (Spring)

August is here and that means just one last month of Winter!  Yay, I'm looking forward to Spring.  I created this Spring inspired design featuring the limited-time Blended Seasons bundle to celebrate!

In planning the project, I asked my crafty friends what colours they associated with Spring.  The response was overwhelmingly unanimous - bright daffodil yellows and crisp fresh greens.  So I coloured the leaves with a mix of pencils and the blooms with Brushos for a vibrant, sunny result!

Blended Seasons, Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

The Artisan Design Team are back with another blog hop celebrating Stampin' Up!'s limited time Colour Your Season suite!

The stamp set, Blended Seasons, has something for every time of year - no matter where you are in the world!  In the last hop, I shared two Christmas projects.  Today I'm channelling Spring with this bright yellow bloom.

I had such fun water-colouring this image.  The pencils from the bundle blended beautifully for the leaves.  Then I coloured the flowers with a rough sprinkle of Brusho Yellow.  I love the unpolished look this achieved in the golden tones as well as all the little random flecks.

Blended Seasons meets Brusho Crystal Colour

Have you heard the news?  Next week, Stampin' Up! will release a limited time product bundle called Blended Seasons.  It's a whole suite of goodies that are perfect for those who love to colour all year long!

My class friends certainly love colouring so I couldn't resist designing this project to share in my upcoming August workshop. Here, the Blended Seasons leaves and those gorgeous Stitched Seasons Framelits, are paired with Brusho Crystal Colour for a truly Autumn inspired card!  If you couldn't make it to class in person but you'd still like to learn how I put this project together, check out my video tutorial here:
