Creation Station - Lotus Blossom

The Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration promotion continues this month.  One of the fabulous free sets on offer, Lotus Blossom, is the feature of this Creation Station blog hop.

In my card today, I've stamped the flower in blue tones - Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon and Soft Sky on a piece of white card.  I love the 'torn out of a notebook' look that the Spiral Border punch gives.   I've added that along the side of this stamped panel and to the bottom I went with a little decorative washi tape and a strip of Lost Lagoon card.

I picked up some Clothespins from the current catalogue some time ago and have been looking forward to using them but they just haven't felt right on any of my designs until now.  Very happy with the way they fit into this concept.

I mounted this little panel high on foam adhesive on a subtle background I created using Crumb Cake card stamped with the Chevron background stamp in craft white ink.  Then stuck the whole thing down to a white card base.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the rest of the Creation Station team have come up with. Why not follow along the links below and be inspired too?
