Get Your Santa On, In Class #2 - September 2014
October 3, 2014
I went for a vintage inspired look with this card featuring the super cute chimney imagery from the Get Your Santa On set. The background paper comes from the now retired Festival of Prints paper stack. I've sponge daubed the edges in crumb cake to soften and give an 'aged' feel to the border.
I fan folded the cherry cobbler tulle ribbon and trimmed it to form the ruffle detail. I initially planned to keep the image uncoloured, but in the end decided to add a little soft colour with blender pens.
The sentiment comes from the same set, as does the cute little hat. I had some off-cuts of the designer paper and used these to create a complimentary internal design.
