Brusho Waterfront Sunset

August 22, 2018

I am so excited to have my work featured over at Scrapbook and Cards Today!  A huge thank you to them, and to Stampin' Up!,  for the opportunity!

So here's a look at the project I shared!

Make sure you click *HERE* or the logo above to check out the original post, learn a little more about how I made these and enter the competition to win the Stampin' Up! products I featured in my project!

FYI, I stamped a bunch of roses while choosing a colour combination for this project. The reds and pinks won me over this time, but I thought it would be fun to share some of the other colours I loved together!

I hope this inspires you!  Which colours are you most drawn too?

Thanks for stopping by!!
Jenn

Abstract Impressions, Scrapbooking and Cards Today

June 3, 2018

It's World Cardmaking Day today!!  Paper enthusiasts around the globe are celebrating their love of cardmaking and the web is being flooded with pictures of their gorgeous handmade greeting cards!  I do so hope that you'll be inspired to put some of these beautiful works of 'heart' in the post to give a loved one a special, unexpected surprise in their letterbox this week!

Today I picked up the latest edition of my favourite cardmaking magazine, Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft.  I'm so excited and honoured to be featured with other industry creatives in this edition as we share some fun ideas for bringing the inside of your cards to the outside.

I've used the In the Meadow set for my design.  I put those gorgeous deer on the front panel, cutting the top section of the front away to reveal the lovely mountain range on the inside in the background.

I hope you've enjoyed this project.  Happy Cardmaking Day all!

Please see Vol 23, No 2 of the mag for full project supply list and instructions.

You can find the full method for creating this set of lovely cards in this month's edition of the Australian Cardmaking Stamping and Papercraft magazine (Vol 22 No 9) - on sale now! Each card features the 'collage stamping technique' with imagery from the First Sight stamp set.

Last month I shared a project that would have fit into this set perfectly.  It's another great example of these papers, embellishments and stamps in action.  Did you miss it?  Find it here!

The TGIF challenge is back again today with one of my favourite kinds of challenges - a sketch!

I'm extra excited to share this card as it is not only perfect for this TGIF challenge but was one of the cards I had published in the latest Australian  Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine (Vol: 22 No: 2) as part of their Christmas Stampers' Challenge featuring Stampin' Up!'s Wondrous Wreath set.

Full instructions on how to put this design together, as well as heaps of other fabulous ideas for using this stamp and die set can be found in this edition of the magazine.

Don't forget to pop on over to the TGIF challenge blog to see all the other fabulous creations and play along with this week's sketch!
