Another Christmas design incorporating an elegant piece of Letters to Santa designer series paper.  The predominant colour is Early Espresso and I've mixed in a little Riding Hood Red.  The En Francais background stamp was used to create the centre panel.  The Tree Trimmings ornament has been stamped and fussy cut twice.  I've layered them with a little 2-way glue pen down the centre which allowed for the edges to be push up together for a little 3D effect.  I had a matching red button and thought this was a nice way to add a little splash of red to decoration.

Tree Trimmings - Preparing for Christmas in July

June 15, 2012

I'd like to wish all my customers, friends and loved ones a very Merry Christmas.

This year I created hybrid cards for my Christmas greetings, incorporating both printed photos and stamped elements. I took some photos of my son Jordan helping to decorate our Christmas tree earlier this month for the purpose of putting these together.  There were four photos I really loved in the end so I made four different versions of the card incorporating the same design but alternating the photos.

I had the most amazing morning crafting with a group of super lovely ladies here at home today to celebrate the launch of the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue.

We created three Christmas themed projects each featuring products available in the newly released mini.  The colour scheme was Elegant Eggplant, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo with touches of silver.

The Red Hat Society is the largest international social organisation for women, actively promoting and supporting fun, friendship, freedom and fulfillment for its members.  Last weekend the local Bendigo Red Hat Society Chapter - the Golden Gadabouts, celebrated their Christmas break-up.

I had the privilege of creating the invitations for the event, the colour theme of course using the Red Hat Society's signature colours of red and purple.
