The Tabs for Everything stamp set has a massive 53 stamps - a mix of fun little words and pictures.  At less than 0.60c a stamp, that's amazing value!  That is, of course, if you know the best way to put small stamps to good use!

Little stamps can be tricky to design with but there are lots of ways they can be used to be the star of your project!  The Let's Get Hopping team are coming to you today with creative ideas to give the smallest stamps in your collection a chance to shine!

For my card today, I chose to draw attention to the small Tabs for Everything crown by centring it in a shaker.  I've also stamped both the outline and solid crown images repeatedly around it for a matching background.

I made this card for my friend Susan Wong.  She was not only appointed to the 2018 Stampin' Up! Artisan design team, but also has the role of Team Liaison.  It's a huge honour in our Stampin' World and I'm so proud and happy for her!

Susan and I are on the Crafty Carrot Collective team together with some wonderfully talented demo friends from around the world.  Throughout January we will be sharing a bunch of fun ideas for the Tabs for Everything stamp set in an exclusive Facebook group.  We'd love for you to come and play along!!  Learn more *HERE*

In the meantime, click the 'next' link below and let the Let's Get Hopping team inspire you to make the smallest of your stamps the hero of your next card!

Small Stamps, Let's Get Hopping Round #4

December 21, 2017

Just over 12 months ago I had an idea...
I wanted a fun, unique way to thank my customers for shopping with me.
I wanted to lead better and give my Stampin' Up! team members more frequent interaction.
And I wanted to inspire all these beautiful people to invest in great Stampin' Up! product and encourage them to get creative with that product in a variety of ways!

I knew that for real variety, I'd need help!  So I approached some of my talented Artisan award-winning friends and together we created the Crafty Carrot Co.

EXCITING PLANS FOR 2018

Every month the Crafty Carrot team carefully selects a product focus and some matching recommendations. Then we celebrate those products all month long within a private Facebook community! We do this by offering exclusive video project tutorials, plenty of inspiration and fun challenges. That will not change!  But we do have some exciting ideas that we are going to start implementing in our next program - Tabs for Everything, January 2018!

I initially picked up this stamp set because I thought it would be really cool for journaling and planning.  But for today's hop, I was inspired to make a birthday card.  The gold embossing Susan used in her beautiful card for this hop really wowed me.  I was drawn to play with mine too.

It's a great example of how working and creating with friends can help you make pretty things you might not have otherwise!  I do so hope you'd like to be one of those crafty friends.  Please come and play along!

Coffee Cafe, Tabs for Everything, Bella & Friends, Stampin' Up!, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost, Cake Container, TGIFc#122, Global Design Project #102

I saw this little dome in the Coffee Cafe set and it made me think of a cake container.  I couldn't resist having a play to see if I could get the idea to work.  Of course, a cake container is no good without a little cake.  This cupcake from the Bella and Friends set was the perfect fit.

The layout for this design was inspired by this week's Global Design Project sketch challenge.  The colouring of the cupcakes and the watercolour wash in the background were inspired by the TGIF Watercolor theme.

Layering Love, Stampin' Up!, Scrapbook layout by Jennifer Frost, Fancy Friday, Tabs for Everything, Diagonal Stripe Background

The Fancy Friday team are sharing some inspiration for putting large font sentiment stamps to use.  For my project, I went with a scrapbook layout featuring "live laugh love" from the Layering Love set.

I fussy cut around the sentiment and layered it amongst the other elements to lend a little interest to the page.

In my journaling, I incorporated some of the Tabs for Everything words amongst my notes.

I often make my layouts to suit a double spread and today's project is no different.  I designed it to suit this pocket page spread.  As you can see, I'm still working through my 'Moments like these' project life card kit (now retired).

I hope that you've enjoyed this project!  Please do click along the link below to see the amazing 'Large Love Font' ideas they have to share with you.  Next up is the lovely Marisa of dzinesbymeg fame.
