Picture Perfect, Confetti Celebrations, Jar of Love, Stampin' Up!, #TGIFc66, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost

I love seeing all your TGIF submissions every week! I was particularly inspired by this beautiful project by Mary Deatherage from our 'Cut the Cake' theme last week.

Whilst Mary went with Jar of Love flowers in a spray of purple and blue hues, I added some of the roses from the Picture Perfect stamp set in my CASE.

I accidentally smudged a little rich razzleberry ink on the card front so added some Timeless Textures spots to cover it up. After all that layered stamping I was not going to scrap the work and start over. What's your favourite technique for covering up a little unintended mess.

#TGIFc66 Case Challenge

#TGIFc64 Summer, Picture Perfect, Timeless Textures, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost, Stampin' Up!

It's all about "Summer Time and Sunshine" at the TGIF challenge blog this week. We are in the middle of winter here in Australia and so it was nice to put together a project that brought to mind warm summer thoughts and a reminder that the days won't always be so cold, dark and short!

I reached for the Picture Perfect stamp set for my project today. That starfish is absolutely perfect for a summery seaside theme. I had a little trouble putting the layout together until I spotted the Global Design Project CASE challenge this week. They are featuring the super talented Steffi Helmschrott at the moment and I drew inspiration from her beautiful work in completing this design.

I stamped just one layer of the starfish and gold embossed it before layering it over a strip of pool party ribbon and some white bakers twine. I love the watercolour background look! I've achieved it here with pool party ink on shimmer white card and added stamping from the Timeless Textures stamp set to finish.

#TGIFc64 Summer Starfish

It's Friday and I'm back with another TGIF challenge, this time a sketch (my favourite)!

I've gone with an array of bright and happy yellow Picture Perfect roses today. I just love the Watercolour Wishes card kit sentiments - they are so pretty and a perfect compliment to these blooms.

#TGIFc50 Picture Perfect Sketch Challenge

#TGIFc49, Colour Challenge, Shine On DSP, Picture Perfect, Bermuda Bay, Coral Calypso, Wisteria Wonder, Helping Me Grow, Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Papercraft by Jennifer Frost, Stampin' Up!

Although summer has come to an end, we can always enjoy the memories of sunshine and sand all year round with seaside themed stamps - such as this detailed starfish from the Picture Perfect stamp set. For today's project I've stamped the starfish in coral calypso and layered it over a little bermuda bay frame from the Helping Me Grow set.

Other layered elements include a little swatch of burlap, a rectangle of Shine On designer series paper pack in bermuda and kraft, some patterned coral calypso and a background of exclusive Sale-a-bration Perfectly Artistic designer papers.

In keeping with the colour challenge I had to add a little wisteria wonder into the mix. I did this in the sentiment and touch of twine.
