Glistening snowflakes, hazy frosted tones and bare trees - I'm seeing so many beautiful winter themed Christmas designs popping up in the card making community at the moment. The Festival of Trees set has a gorgeous bare tree in the mix. I don't make many snowy themed Christmas cards as for me and many other Aussies, Christmas is hot and balmy, so wintery themes just don't seem to feel right to me. But the icy season theme is so pretty and when I saw these cards created by Donna of Butternut Sage Designs, I was inspired to put together this misty design.

Jenn this is really lovely. I tend to stay away from snow flakes and the like for exactly the same reasons, we have hot balmy weather in Australia! Your card could tempt me though...love the tones you've used.
ReplyDeleteSo soft & subtle. Love the wintery feel. Love the CAS too of course!
